We are currently looking for: 

Orono Store Manager:

Sales and Service Responsibilities

· Maintains selling as a priority, sells productively, and is aware of meeting and exceeding store sales goals.

· Communicates sales goals and promotions to sales associates, encouraging their achievement. Consistently motivates associates to achieve their full potential to meet company standards and store goals.

· Builds good customer relationships and provides a high level of customer service, setting an enthusiastic and aggressive example for associates to follow.

Store Operations

· Maintains a well-organized, clean store appearance (including warehouse, cash wrap & kitchen area, fitting rooms, and offices).

· Is knowledgeable and able to execute all computer systems and POS procedures.

· Keeps all controllable expenses within company guidelines. Requests supplies ensuring consistent and accurate level of them while controlling expenses.

· Available for “on-call” in the event of scheduling conflicts, store emergencies, etc.

· Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.

· All financial activities are performed efficiently following company policies and guidelines (Including cash handling, reporting, pricing and changes, and merchandise handling).

Team/Professional Characteristics

· Creates enthusiasm in the store, developing the willingness and desire in associates to work towards established store policies and company objectives.

· Communicates effectively and cooperates with all associates and management.

· Demonstrates flexibility to meet the needs of the business.

· Recognizes sales trends, giving constructive feedback on merchandise to Retail Director.

· Properly plans and organizes to execute and ensure sales support functions processes are met.

· Able to assess and react to issues/situations with a logical, well-thought out approach.

Staff Management and Development

· Assist Director of Retail in recruiting, hiring, training/development, motivation and supervision of sales associates.

· Demonstrates effective leadership skills and a positive team attitude.

 

Sales Associates at the Hope Chest Retail Stores

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal retail sales associate is professional, motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service in the Hope Chest for Breast Cancer retail stores.

Responsibilities:

· Minimum one year in retail with point of sale experience or customer service experience

· Provide an excellent customer service experience

· Build an ever-increasing customer base

· Follow all store operating procedures to reduce shrink and maintain operating guidelines

· Help maintain a neat & orderly store environment

· Maintain open communication with entire sales and management team

Qualifications

· Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers

· High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Problem-solving skills

· Strong computer proficiency and comfortable learning new computer applications

· Organizational, math and written communication skills

· High level of ownership, accountability and initiative

· Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs
